I know how you feel. I have the same issue with another fanfic that I'm working on. I'm really excited about what I've written so far but I'm stuck figuring out how to get from A to B and whatever that I do, I still feel that something is missing. I will fix it eventually, I usually do. I just need to find time for that. (AKA I want to finish The Once and Future King first.)
One of the things that usually help me when I'm stuck is just reading what I've written so far and write notes. It may help you figure out what is it exactly that your story needs. Or send it to a friend, an unbiased opinion can help.
I can't wait to finish it honestly. It reached this point when you are really engrossed in one story that you don't think of another. (Which I never did before. I usually be working on at least two stories at a time.) and I'm almost at the end! :)
