Humans, Youtubers, And More About Camp NaNo

Colin Morgan is definitely a big reason why I am planning to watch Humans, but the show itself seems interesting. I watched Humans trailer and it was good.

I don't know when I will be able to watch it though, as far as I can tell it is only airing in Britain right now. But hopefully I will soon, before getting spoiled about every single thing by Tumblr.

 

I have downloaded FORCEdraft two days ago. It is a text editor that blocks everything out until a certain time is done or when you write a certain amount of words. So far it has been really helpful, and it helped to just focus and get back to writing. I really recommend it for people who are easily distracted like me.

I thought about what I am going to write in Camp NaNoWriMo in July, but in the end I just decided to not plan, and just go for it. I already have an outline  for the fic I'm writing, so I'm going to spend July finishing and editing it, and perhaps work on other stories. (Probably will, since my brain can't seem to focus on just one story.)
 

I have spent all day yesterday just watching Youtube videos. It has been a while and I haven't realised how much I missed it until I started. They are really entertaining, especially videos by Youtubers like Danisnotonfire, AmazingPhil or Vlogbrothers.

I just watched a video where Dan plays Outlast and I was scared for him. God, I don't even like horror games, then why do I watch people play them? Idk. But I can't stop apparently.

I will go and read a fanfic now, to erase what I have seen from my mind.

How does Camp NaNoWriMo work? I'm intrigued!

Camp NaNoWriMo is basically an event where people from around the world set a word count and try to reach it in that month. It has two events. In April and in July. You can find more about it here: http://campnanowrimo.org/about

Awesome, thank you! It sounds like a great idea. I especially like how the word count is more open-ended. That would suit me much more than a goal of 50,000 words in one month.

It is really fun. I tried it in April and won, but when I tried NaNoWriMo in November I couldn't make it. 50,000 are just too much for me.

I have been hearing about this show off and on. I love robots and sci fi stories that deal with humans versus machines. I read all of Asimov's robot books when I was a kid. It reminds me a little of Chobits, a Japanese comic.
And Colin Morgan, so I will have to give it a go. :)

I am undecided about Camp NaNo. Do they just assign you cabin mates or can you invite people?

Yeah, Colin Morgan pretty much convince 50% of the show's viewers to give it a shot. x)

You can choose to get assigned a cabin (based on your genre, your wordcount, people in your timezone, etc..) , or you can make a cabin and invite people in it.

Jared is amazing, but I have a soft spot for dark haired men with light eyes and a British accent. ;)
